MY STORY

Slowly over time I had become the worst version of myself. I had allowed poor eating habits and lack of physical movement to bring me to a state of 5’8” and 270 pounds. I was never this heavy in my life.

Everyone has a turning point and mine was one that would come by realizing the lengths I was willing to go to continue to make excuses for myself.

My fiancé and me were getting ready to attend a wedding of a friend of hers. As I went to put on my suit that I have worn to many events in the past, I was sickened at how the suit barely fit. I could no longer button the top button of the shirt. “How would I wear a tie”? I was upset, and embarrassed. It was a shirt designed for larger men, and still, I couldn’t button the top button.

As I sat in the living room as she was getting ready, I was so pissed off at myself- but that wouldn’t make me turn the corner. I had been mad at myself many times in the past, to only stay in my same rut.

Then this happened.

As I sat on the couch, I started playing scenarios in my mind of how I could fake being sick to Kim, so that I didn’t have to go to this wedding. To have to “sit there and be uncomfortable in these clothes all night long, sweating,  was something I had to avoid”- at ANY cost. So, I ran a few ideas through my head -fake being sick, come out of the bathroom and lie and say I just threw up, anything to make this sound legit. Something really convincing needed to be used here- and I started crying.

I went into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I said- "look at yourself". Willing to lie to your fiancé, and completely ruin her evening,  having to make excuses why she had to go alone, all the while knowing it was a lie, and knowing that it was the worst kind of lie- a lie to absolve yourself from any responsibility for your being in this moment.

This was your fault. Only you ate these foods. Only you allowed yourself to get here, but yet you were planning a grand scheme to make the one you love, the ultimate victim of YOUR weakness. She didn’t deserve this. The disappointment in her eyes was going to be something I just had to deal with in order to get out of this event. The thought of lying to her and then sitting home knowing she was there without me, because I faked the whole thing was the end of the rope for me.

I wiped my tears in the bathroom, and said – you are  going to this wedding, and for every moment you feel uncomfortable, you are going to remember how you got here. Starting Monday, you will not only change- but make a change that is with real knowledge about food, weight, and nutrition.

 

I had been up and down in weight before, but this time- was truly the last time. I looked in the mirror and said- THIS is the last time you will ever be at this weight. This is the last time you make excuses for your own weakness, and this is the last time you will lie to yourself about what works and what doesn’t work.

You got yourself into this, and only you can get you out of it. No more blaming any of this on anything- food, genetics, family history, childhood trauma- this WAS ON YOU.

I then set out on that journey to find the truth about food, weight, and health from a scientific approach. What works long term, and why some countries have thin people and others have overweight people.

I spent the next two years researching and learning about food and weight loss. I then put it all into practice for myself (and later to other clients) and the weight fell off.

I now weigh 175lbs.  I have kept this weight off for over 4 years. I have had many epiphanies along the way. Things that I can show you that work, and dispel all the lies about the process.

 

My programs are not new. They have been utilized by millions of others before me with proven results.

There have been many tricks and things that I have learned along the way. I’ve put these into practice to help people like you out there, that may have had a similar situation where they were willing to lie to the very person they love, in order to absolve themselves from responsibility.

 

My goal is to show people how EASY, yes I said easy, weight loss is. In fact, it's so simple, that I can teach it to anyone no matter how much weight you need to lose. It’s all about habits. Routines. Daily things you do that make for long term successes. Little building blocks of a program that become instinctual, and habitual to the point that you don’t even realize your doing them.

In every day life we practice a routine for personal hygiene, personal finance and other daily systems. Weight loss and health are no different.
